For Japanese and English pages, the server sends public CNA news headlines and the source/target language to DeepL. The translation request does not forward the visitor’s IP address, cookies or browser details. Translations are unofficial and are shown alongside the publisher’s original text.

Possible data: IP address, device/browser information, referrer and request time. Purpose: displaying and refreshing current weather for Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung every 15 minutes.

Possible data: submitted subject and message, IP address, device/browser information, referrer and request time. Purpose: receiving error reports and broken-link reports, verifying published information and improving the site. Google’s Privacy Policy applies.

Possible data: IP address, device/browser, referrer, requested URL, and request time. Purpose: delivery, caching, security, abuse prevention, and diagnostics.

Possible data: connection details from the Cloudflare Pages Function and request time. Purpose: retrieving public RSS news. The implementation does not intentionally forward the visitor's IP address or cookies.

Possible data: IP address, device/browser, referrer, and request time. Purpose: displaying images for the operator's related sites in the footer.

Possible data: cookies or identifiers, IP address, device/browser, page and ad interaction data, and approximate location. Purposes: advertising, measurement, abuse prevention, and displaying region-appropriate consent messages. The official AdSense tag loads so Google's certified CMP can operate, and the CMP manages advertising choices in applicable regions.

Use the persistent Privacy and cookie settings button at the bottom of the page to reopen Google's certified CMP and change advertising choices. Outside supported CMP regions, Google ad settings and browser cookie controls can also be used.
